Course Aims:
The aims of this course are to:

  1. Provide students with knowledge of the key concepts of work behavior including the up-to-date concepts of organizational behavior.
  2. Communicate in an effective way the knowledge of managing people in an organization.
  3.  Enable students to apply relevant conceptual frameworks for solving people related management problems through different activities in class.
  4. Prepare students to demonstrate generic skills in interpersonal interaction, effective communication, working individually and in groups, and business ethics and etiquette.

    Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of individual, group and organizational behavior, such as perception and personality, workplace ethics and values, employee motivation, stress management, team work and team decision making, communication, conflict and negotiation in organizations, leadership and power, politics and persuasion.

    Integrate these concepts with knowledge gained in other courses.

    Apply appropriate methods in collecting, and analyzing data gathered from business organizations for managing people related projects.
