EF5043 Financial Management and the International Firm
Part I Course Duration: 1 semester (39 hours) Part II Course Aims This course puts students in the place of a chief financial officer (CFO) of a company operating in an international environment. When completing the course, they should be able to analyze information about the global economy and how it affects the company. In addition, they should be able to propose managerial actions in order to take advantage of opportunities and in order to avoid the costs of adverse market conditions. Some of the decisions that they will have to take during the course are also related to problems faced regularly by management consultants, investment bankers, and international stock analysts.
