Course Aims
The course aims to provide students with an experience in the development of media project in a real-life working environment. Students on their own options are assigned to work for an organization for a duration of not less than 13 weeks during the summer break.  The student can also find his/her own individual work with the consent of Division.  This provides students the opportunity to appreciate a real-life working environment and put their learnt concepts and knowledge in the previous courses into practice.

Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILOs)
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

1.      understand the practical issues in dealing with media project;

2.      enhance the level of competence in carrying out the learnt knowledge and understand the practical limitation;

3.      develop better communication skills;

4.      appreciate different ideas and work collectively as a team to plan, schedule, and monitor and control a media production project;

5.      adopt creative approaches in media design and production; and

6.      help develop a commercially realistic application in an economic and cost effective manner.
