CS3269 Integrated Design Project: Databases Over the Internet

Course Aims & Objectives:
The objective is to introduce to the students the practical aspects of designing, implementing, and accessing databases over a network (in particular, Internet) environment. The emphasis is on hands-on experience.
At the end of the course, the students should have the basic knowledge in the design and implementation of application systems over the Internet. In particular, they will have more in-depth knowledge about designing and implementing browsers, Web pages, different ways for implementing and accessing databases over the Internet, various database servers existing in the markets, etc.
